I don't know why this is stuck in my mind but there is a small dos game from between 91-94 that has a world map, and aweful sounding spies trting to find some quest.
It is a small game but I cannot stand it when I cannot remember the name of something. I can't stand brain farts. Grotto. -------------------- CNN is the modern day version of cold war Pravda and Izvestia.

If you are into oldies, like me, go to a website home of the underdogs. I am not sure what the address is, but go to google and type in the home of the underdogs, and youll get it. There is a plethora of old games there, and about 90% of them are free to download, mainly cause they are old and out of print at this point. Check it out, theres definitely some good stuff. YOu can probably find the name of the game you are looking for as well.

There was a game, "Secret Agent" You had a map of different islands, and you had to go around and do missions. I think it was an Apogee game, and it's from the time period you're talking about. Graphics were very basic, but colorful, and it was kinda fun.

I do think it was "'secret agent" and I think it came out in 92.
